mr. pokora began his career working on wall street as an equity research analyst for goldman, sachs & co. in new york where he covered the gaming, lodging & leisure sector, specializing in hotel real estate investment trusts.

following goldman, mr. pokora joined pomona capital, a private equity firm based in new york. mr. pokora later moved to pomona’s london, uk office where he gained alternative international dealmaking experience. during his tenure at pomona, mr. pokora closed over $1 billion in transactions. 

mr. pokora was educated at franklin & marshall college in lancaster, pa where he majored in business, organization and society with a focus in finance.

John Hohos, Monolith Capital

John Hohos

Mr. Hohos began his career working on Wall St. as a Sales & Trading analyst at MF Global in New York. Mr. Hohos later joined JP Morgan Chase in the commercial term-lending group, having participated in financing over $500 million in multi-family and mixed use properties in the New York City area.

following jp morgan, mr. hohos joined ollie holdings as one the first hires for the company. ollie, at the time, was the largest co-living real estate company in north america. mr. hohos oversaw all leasing activities for ollie, executed asset management initiatives across ollie’s national property portfolio and was responsible for structuring ollie’s international real estate joint ventures.

Mr. Hohos received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from St. John’s University and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. While in law school, Mr. Hohos worked with the US Court of International Trade and in the New York City Civil Court – Landlord Tenant Division. He is a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate (NY).

claire packer is a managing partner of monolith capital advisors us, lp where she executes monolith’s private credit investment strategy and manages firm business. 

Ms. Packer began her career as an analyst with clean line energy, an real asset infrastructure portfolio company based in houston. Ms. Packer went on to join Warwick Investment Group, an RIA with over $1 billion in managed assets where she was the COO and Head of Capital Formation. at Warwick, Ms. Packer served on the executive committee and compliance committee and was responsible for the operational infrastructure of the firm including firm strategy, HR, cybersecurity, compliance, and ESG. Prior to joining Monolith Capital, Ms. Packer founded H10 advisors – a boutique private equity consultancy working with private equity and venture capital firms launching new funds, establishing capital formation strategies, and developing institutional quality back-office practices.

claire received an ab in history from harvard college and a master of accounting from the college of william & Mary.

Shalom Kalfon, Monolith Capital

Shalom Kalfon

Acquisitions

Shalom Kalfon is the Head of the Acquisitions team at Monolith Capital. Mr. Kalfon is involved in all facets of the firm’s investment management activities, including but not limited to sourcing and underwriting of investment opportunities, acquisitions, dispositions, execution of business plans, asset management, and collaboration with joint venture partners.

Prior to joining Monolith Capital, Mr. Kalfon was Vice President of Acquisitions at Concord Capital New York, where he was responsible for sourcing and purchasing distressed commercial real estate debt. 

Mr. Kalfon received his Bachelor of Science summa Cum Laude from Excelsior College and his Juris Doctor Cum Laude from New York Law School.

Ross Greenberg, Monolith Capital

Ross Greenberg, CPA

Controller

Mr. Greenberg oversees all financial management and reporting aspects of the company, including: accounting, financial reporting, analysis, internal controls, and oversight related to real estate investments.

Mr. Greenberg’s tenure includes working at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in their audit practice in new york city, serving fortune 100 clients in the Financial Services industry, then serving as a Senior Accountant at Assured Guaranty, where he was responsible for the financial reporting and accounting for a $10bn and $1bn fixed income securities and Variable Interest Entity (VIE) portfolio. Mr. Greenberg then transitioned into real estate and joined Apollo Global Management as an Associate Director to work for their publicly traded REIT, where he was responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting, and investor presentations for their public and private funds. Following Apollo, Mr. Greenberg relocated to South Florida and joined CP Group, the largest office landlord in Florida, where he managed a $4bn loan portfolio related to class a properties throughout the united states.

Mr. Greenberg received his bachelor of science in health science from the University of Florida, and his MBA in accounting from Hofstra University. additionally, he holds an active certified public accountant (CPA) license in new york state.
